Artwork: No charge when submitted using an accepted digital art program. $50.00 (G) per hour if artwork requires additional manipulation.
Digital Art Programs Accepted: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and QuarkXPress.
4 Color Process Orders: For all orders printing CMYK, we recommend supplying an accurate color representation of the product or providing a printed sample from a previous order.
Layout: Your art should be submitted preset in the layout format you intend for printing your order. To assist you in creating an accurate layout, art templates are available for download both here and on product pages. For imprints that bleed, art should extend 1/8" beyond the final trim size. For imprints that do not bleed, artwork should be kept 1/8" inside the final trim size.
Fonts: Outlined fonts are preferred. If this is not possible, send fonts with files.
Compression: SuffIt® and WinZip®.
Vector Art: Vector art is resolution independent, meaning it can be enlarged without reducing image quality. This is the preferred format for all artwork. Encapsulated Postscript (EPS) or PDF files generated using Illustrator, InDesign, or Acrobat are accepted. All type should be converted to outlines to avoid potential font problems.
Raster Art: Raster art is resolution dependent, meaning it cannot be enlarged without reducing image quality. To ensure optimal print quality, TIFFs created using Photoshop should be created 100% to final print size using the following dpi guidelines: CMYK TIFFs should be 300 dpi, grayscale TIFFS should be at least 600 dpi, and bitmap TIFFs should be at least 1200 dpi.
